After nearly two decades managing portfolios across multi-family residential and commercial properties, I never imagined that fraudulent lease applications and payment schemes would become one of our most resource-intensive challenges. What started as occasional discrepancies in tenant screening documents evolved into sophisticated fraud rings targeting multiple properties simultaneously.
